Practical competencies are assessed through workplace observations, allowing learners to demonstrate their skills in real-world care settings. These evaluations form an essential part of the Online Level 2 Adult Care Course assessment, ensuring learners can confidently apply their knowledge in professional environments.
Assessment is conducted through two key processes:
Internal Verification: Qualified assessors at your training centre observe and evaluate your practical skills, ensuring competence against the standards of the qualification.
External Quality Verification: Independent verification, conducted on-site or remotely, confirms that the centre maintains compliance with national qualification requirements.
By combining documentary evaluations with practical observations, this dynamic course in the UK provides a thorough and structured assessment process, preparing learners to become skilled, confident, and capable adult care professionals.
Work Placement
To complete the Level 2 Adult Care Training, learners must undertake a work placement under the supervision of a staff member with occupational competence. This supervisor will guide your practical experience and provide signed witness testimonies to confirm you have achieved the required work-based learning outcomes.
In addition, learners will take part in remote observations conducted by Assessors of Phlebotomy Training Institute, to ensure competency and compliance with course standards.
Important: You must need to be employed or working in any care sector throughout the qualification, either paid or voluntary. It is required to evidence 50 hours of your work placement through the witness testimonies, in order to successfully complete this course and gain your nationally recognised qualification.
