Once you have completed theoretical training and classroom simulated practice, a supervisor/trainer with experience and competence in venepuncture will supervise your advanced phlebotomy competency assessment. You must successfully complete at least 10-12 blood draws to receive a sign-off from the supervisor/trainer.
