Our Cannulation & Cannulation Training Overview
This Venepuncture and Cannulation Training Course is a 2-in-1 bundle that teaches you the foundational-level knowledge and skills in phlebotomy and cannulation. On both days, there will be a theory and a practical part.
You don’t have to bring anything to the practical training as all equipment will be provided. You’ll learn proper methods of vein selection, understand anatomy, safe procedures, needle insertion and safety measures.
The bundle course meets the highest standards and is accredited by the CPD. It also complies with the National Occupational Standards for Obtaining Venous Blood Samples and adheres to incredibly high standards of infection control.

There are two assessment methods that you have to complete. During the practical assessment, your trainer will closely observe your practices. In the MCQ assessment, your understanding of cannulation will be tested.
Once you complete both assessments successfully, you’ll get a CPD-accredited certificate.
