Classroom-Based Phlebotomy Training Course

The foundational phlebotomy training in Edinburgh has two different learning practices. You will learn both theory and practical knowledge in one training session.

Theory Training Online : ~3.5 Hours

The theory training is fully flexible and online. It provides you with all the formal knowledge. You will get a better understanding of venepuncture and blood collection.

Note: You must complete the online training before joining the practical class.

Classroom-based Learning : 7 Hours

The in-person phlebotomy class trains you for venepuncture, blood collection, and more practically. You will learn with real clinical equipment and tools. The class is divided into 2 sessions. The sessions are:

• First 3 hours Session: In the first session, you will learn venepuncture, blood draw, vial labelling, and patient safety. Also, learners will practice on manikins and silicone arms.
• Break: 30 min
• Next 3.5 hours Session: In this session, learners will draw blood from their fellow participants with their consent under the expert’s guidance.
